New Idria Preservation Project

Joaquín Rocks Access Proposal

This proposal puts fourth a plan that attempts to increase responsible recreation to Joaquín Rocks and the surrounding area. The proposal does this by addressing several of the problems currently associated with access issues and restrictions. In brief, this plan proposes to make changes and improvement that would increase non-OHV activity along Joaquín Ridge between Wright Mountain and Joaquín Rocks. The plan also proposes that enforcement of certain Off Highway Vehicle (OHV) abuses in the subject area become more dramatic.
